About Roatan
Roatan is the largest of the Bay Islands, situated in the Western Caribbean, approximately 35 miles off the coast of Honduras. The island is 33 miles long and just 3 miles wide at its widest point. The Island is tropical with lush green forests and rolling hills that offer spectacular scenic views of the crystal clear turquoise waters and the surrounding reef. This protected reef, which encompasses the island, is part of the second largest barrier reef in the world and is home to 97% of the coral species found in the Caribbean.
